As we move closer into summer, I'm not so sure about that. Most people live within a 10 mile distance of my practice and after looking at statistics for the month of June visits were not down at all. It's funny because I almost bought into the idea that people weren't traveling but I guess it's more for those that are traveling long distances. In Los Angeles, I don't think many people drive more than 12 miles or so to go to a place like their dentists, chiropractor, yoga class, fitness center, or acupuncturist.
